1. AGM
   1. Because we didn’t have a huge attendance the PSSA will do another pizza night to be subsidized by the Political Science faculty
   2. What we did right: free food incentive during lunch time
   3. What we did wrong: choosing Friday afternoon as the event time (not a lot of POLS students), little to no advertisement within faculty
   4. What we can changes: have fun event incentive, perhaps with a connection with NUGSS; cross promoting with other clubs;  volunteers for sitting at a table during Tuesday: Kadagn is available on  Tuesday  or Wednesday
   5. Action items: Create and implement marketing strategy
2. Shinerama: PSSA, together with the ISSA and Model UN, raised $360 thanks to a car wash
3. Scholarship: still waiting for confirmation for paperwork
4. Pres. Iwama spoke in clubs space and is very interested in liberal arts. It will be great to have more students coming to this monthly event.
5. Politician’s Dinner
   1. Waiting for list from Nicole Rimmer (past president). Invites will be sent out to the following:
      1. Hon. Dick Harris will be great to have.
      2. Mayors,  members of Cariboo development,  councillors, premier, MLAs, Carole James
6. Alumni Connection
   1. Dan, PSSA’s past president when James Moore was still in university, is now a communications director. He was impressed with our strategic plan and is very interested in helping our club grow.
7. Advertising updates:
   1. Humanities event:  poster done, just need to know the details
   2. Change names in sites & brochures: Gavin’s talked to Communications department .. waiting on processing of Clubs package
8. Finances
   1. Gavin & Brian have receipts à submit receipts to Marissa
9. Clubs Workshop: Friday, Sept 24 (1-3PM) à go to NUGSS Office
10. Regular club meeting time is now on Fridays at 2:30PM in the Clubs Room.
11. Business presentation: send an invitation out to Michael, Commerce/Business student
12. PSSA will be booking table for Ski Movie event. If interested, tell Brian who will try and get you tickets (last day: October 16)
13. Humanities Evening
    1. Change location to Student Street
    2. Invite all students but only have faculty from certain groups speak
    3. Name change: to be decided later
    4. Meeting required with organizers to figure out dates, etc.
       1. i.     Friday (Sept. 24, 2PM): will now be a planning meeting instead of the actual event
    5. Brian will talk to Stephanie Leong about the History program on September 20.
    6. Gavin will talk to Political Science Faculty on September 21.
    7. Gavin will talk to Don Ireland by September 24.
